Hell's Precipice Bonus (with henchies and heroes)
Yep, I was able to do it, now I have P.O.T! After months of failures with pugs (all the dang rage quitters etc) or just henchies, I tried tonight for laughs and actually got it done.
I used Tahlkora (level 20 set to pro/heal), Dunkoro (level 20 set to pro/heal), Acolyte Jin (level 20 set as B/P w/level 16 Wolf) , Menhlo, Lina, Cynn, and Eve. And myself, level 20 WaRan w/pet (level 16 lioness).
I was amazed how it all worked so well, with planting flags etc. I think having pets really helped as they kept things busy while we fought. Sure they died a lot but it really seemed to help somehow.
Man, Heroes rawk! (with 4 monks it's way easier )
Here is a screenshot of the heroes settings. (In case anyone wants ideas for theirs).

imo, the missions ont he fire isles are a bit annoying due to all the harsh damage you take (especially in Abbadon's Mouth, where the 10 hydras come in and bomb everything)
Pets probably did help as they took damage first b/c they went in first. Grats to you.

Thanks, sorry for the shorthand. Yes, Hell's Precipice.
I have sentinel insignias on chest and leggings (req 13 strength to get +20 armor vs elemental) which must have helped also (using Elonian Sunspears Armor).

and 4 monks is not an overkill at all. I did it with only henchies, back when you had no heroes. It's not as hard as it seems....

Yes I did it with Mhenlo and Lina. I can't believe 4 monks lol. -_-
You aren't the first person to tell me "I finally finished Prophecies, 4 monks ftw". lol

Also did the fire islands last weekend to get rid of some of the anti farming code. Went quite easy actually. The only prohpecies bonus I haven't been able to do so far with heroes and hench is the Dunes bonus...
if anyone has suggestions... let me now.

For that i recomend just taking a high damage build, the less melee chars the better since they cant fight effectivly here due to armour boosts and Blind.
When u get the the fort, aggressivly defend him (as in charge to the attackers before they attack him) take out the first 2 waves of 3 groups, ten before the boss comes, head out the south entrance and eliminate the boss there then re enter the fort, kill the boss and his guards and any enemys sent automatically by killing the boss to the south.
You should have about 4-6 minutes remaining by this point. simply charge south and waste both bosses, concentrating on 1 1st then the other 1 (note u have to kill the 2 defending units as well as the boss) should any scarabs spawn make them ur number 1 targets since this will make the healers job alot easier.

One of the stranger groups that got me bonus there, was 4 E/x, with henchie healers (Alesia and ...).
3 of the Nukers were echo MS/meteor, the usual. One was part warder.
No melee, no defenses, no nothing. Just pure DPS. Bunch up together, drop ward, then nuke away. Although I don't remember how we kept the ghost alive, last time I was there after NF, he was taking some heavy siege damage. I'm not sure something has changed.

erm barrage cancels out Ignite arrows. (sinces its a preparation)
The simplest way to do this bonus is to simply clear the way then go back and talk to the ghost and escort her there nice and easy. The only more difficult parts are breaking through the fort, whichisnt too hard if u know what ur doing and Fighting off the 2 waves of hydra and golems, which can be easily taken down either my sucessfully luring or by just plainly out fighting them (which is much easier with a interuptor if ur using heros/henches since Ms will be highly effective on them otherwise.)

Usually it's much easier with henchies/heroes, because they don't let the Hulks spawn like 6 Hands and Fists.
First time I finished the game was with henchies as well. Seems like it's pretty hard to get a decent/non-leaving/crashing team here.

Yeah rage quitters are the downfall there quite often. I'm basically done with pugs now. I don't even look for them anymore. Glad GW added Heroes. No more foul mouthed lil punks yelling at the monks everytime their sorry ..... die and they need someone to blame.
As for having ignite and barrage, my hero ranger seems to know when to use them. Good job to the devs, they are helping bigtime (heroes). But to be fair most any build needs tweaking. 4 monks being overkill, LOL overkill is chasing every stupid mob you fight. I will take every advantage GW offers to beat the missions. To feel uber I live my life and take care of my family, nothing in game is so important I have to make things as tough as possible to feel like a winner. Smooth and easy FTW!

Thanks for the advise, 2 Searing flames heroes and dunkoro set up as a bonder on the ghost gave me enough time to plow through the bonus and be back to save the ghost. Almost too easy...

Maybe for some, but for me some places where a no go with hench. The heroes and control are definitely a big plus.

Was definately doable with just henches but I just recently redid it for mapping purposes and heros took ~45min versus 2 hours with henches. Heros make it so much easier I actually enjoyed the mission.

If you're not a paragon yourself try adding one in the party, you'll be surprised how much easier things get.
Paragon hero > 2 monk heroes

With heroes you can use necrotic transversal/rebirth in Dunes. Heroes share your inventory space, so you can just pass around a single vamp weapon to kill them off and teleport them outside the fort.
